RICHMOND, VA (December 11, 2012) The Metropolitan Richmond Women’s Bar Association (MRWBA) is proud to announce Stephanie E. Grana as the recipient of the 2012 Women of Achievement Award. MRWBA will honor Grana at its annual holiday luncheon on December 12, 2012 at the Willow Oaks Country Club.

This is the 19th year the MRWBA has presented the Women of Achievement Award to one of its members. The award is presented annually to the nominee who has made the most significant contributions to the legal profession and the community through her professional work, her charitable work and her work with other women attorneys. Recipients of this award are the leaders in the community who best exemplify the purpose of the MRWBA by raising the stature of women in the legal profession.

She is listed in Best Lawyers in America in Medical Malpractice Law and in Top 25 Richmond Area Super Lawyers, and is AV® rated by Martindale-Hubbell. Grana has been described as a “true lawyer’s lawyer” and serves on the Boyd-Graves Conference Committee, the Executive Council for the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and the Virginia State Bar Disciplinary Committee.
