Tune into The Roth Report hosted by Bill Roth – Virginia Sports Hall of Fame inductee and long-time, play-by-play announcer for the Virginia Tech Hokies. Not only has Bill returned as the “Voice of the Hokies,” but he is also a professor at Virginia Tech in the School of Communication, where he helped launch their Sports Media and Analytics program. The Roth Report discusses different topics in sports, as well as what’s being taught in Bill’s classroom. Listen each week as various guest speakers join him to review the topics at hand.
Jon Laaser Reports
Before stepping away to focus on mental health initiatives for public schools and partnering with his wife to start the Laaser’s Ladybug Society, John Laaser was the radio play-by-play announcer for Virginia Tech football. From 2015 to 2022, he served as the “Voice of the Hokies” before Bill Roth got back in the booth and resumed the role he held prior to John taking over. While there, John kept fans up-to-date with all the Hokie happenings. Check out his sports reports from his time at Lane Stadium.
