Frank F. Rennie, IV is a senior partner in the Richmond law firm of CowanGates. Mr. Rennie is also a retired Rear Admiral, having served in the U.S. Navy with a distinguished active and reserve career. His naval career spans almost four decades and includes service aboard surface ships and various military staffs around the world.

Mr. Rennie is a native Richmonder who graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy. Following active military service, Mr. Rennie graduated from the T.C. Williams School of Law at the University of Richmond. He has maintained a general law practice at the CowanGates law firm in Richmond for over 30 years.

While practicing law, Mr. Rennie also served as a reserve officer in the U.S. Navy, being recalled extensively to active duty as our nation required. After September 11, 2001, he served primarily overseas directing and supporting U.S. military operations. Mr. Rennie retired from the Navy in 2010 with the rank of Rear Admiral and returned to his law practice full time.

Mr. Rennie represents clients throughout Virginia in practice areas such as personal injury, litigation, eminent domain and property issues.
